UAT Tester
MUST HAVE -- TSYS/SAS/Unix/Authorization experience Newark, DE 34hr 6+ Months UAT Tester with Unix and TSYS or authorization processing experience. DESCRIPTION: Duties: Perform limited scope and end to end system tests. Develop test scripts based upon business requirements and processes, in line with defined workflows and use cases. Process transactions from system entry to exit. Test functionality delivered across applications and workflows. Test applications to demonstrate that relevant existing system functionality. Develop testing processes and approaches according to JPMC Chase, and Six Sigma/CMM standards. Assist in designing and ensuring overall integrity of the testing strategy. Work with appropriate business partners and technology leads to determine the acceptable range for test results and performance. Help design, develop and implement test plans, test scripts, and testing tools using the detailed business requirements document provided by the business analysts. Work with business partners and technology leads to identify the appropriate data for testing, and prepare that data for the test cases. Assist Application Developers and technical support staff in identifying and resolving problems. Facilitate resolution and communication of cross-application/organization architectural issues and decisions. Assess and revise test sequence and scope based upon test results and/or changes in product design. Coordinate component, system and documentation testing with the appropriate technical groups and Release Management. Document test procedures and findings. Reconcile test results from different tests and different groups. Assess readiness and deviation of product/project performance based upon test results and product specifications. Perform the tests in both the QA and contingency/backup environments. QUALIFICATIONS: . Minimum 3 years experience with Applications development or quality assurance testing experience required. . Experience creating detailed test cases/scripts for technical and/or business clients, required. . Experience creating Test Strategy and Test Plan documentation, required. . Experience creating, modifying, and executing SQL queries including complex table joins, required. . Strong experience testing within a UNIX environment. . Strong experience with manual testing, testing tools, and reviewing test cases, required. . Minimum education of a Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent is required. . Experience creating and implementing test environments for a client-server or distributed system involving relational databases. . Knowledge of testing methodology, automated test/load tools (i.e. LoadRunner). . Bureau Summarization Knowledge Preferred . Previous Policy Rule Execution Experience Desired Supports all aspects of test planning and execution. .Creates or assists testers to create detailed test plans/strategies in cooperation with the Business Lead, the Project Manager, and the UAT PM, both at the project level and at the departmental level. .Reviews and provides input to test cases/scripts. .Creates or assists testers to create project Trace Matrix and ensures that all project requirements are accounted for. .Creates, manages, and maintains a consolidated work plan spanning all project phases for Test related activities. .Provides UAT Project Manager with project specific test resource requirements and testing timelines. .Assists UAT Project Manager with resource scheduling. .Monitors and tracks testing risks and mitigating action plans. .Communicates the test strategy, schedule and status to the team. .Develops management-level communication (e.g., kickoff meetings, checkpoint meetings) .Ensures all project documentation complies with process standards. .Attends and provides input to release level Exit Review meetings. .Participates in defining solutions for integrated testing when applicable. .Coordinates testing with vendors. .Measures and reports test progress to UAT PM. .Conducts Test Status meetings which includes review of test results and defects with all participating testers, Project Leads/Managers, and UAT PM. .Coordinates the execution of test scripts with internal and external testers. .Contributes to best practices Thanks & regards, Arvi Singh Purview IT Phone: (703) 880-3299 x202 |Cell: (703) 338-4175 |Fax: 1 (888) 268-7270 | Email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED]|www. purviewit.com |YIM: arvipurview Note :: If I am not reachable through Voice, please use YIM for quick response.
