Here is the job description,please review and let me know if you have any consultants for this position. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> *Boston**, MA*** *Contract Length:** 3 Months* *Phone Screen than most likely onsite – I will not pay for interview costs* * * *Skills and Competencies:* * * *Must have proven experience (+5 years as storage architect) in the following:* - Assess, plan and design storage consolidation for existing storage infrastructure - Design and implement of various SAN and NAS solutions - Design of IP SAN solutions for heterogeneous operating systems - Create capacity planning processes and procedures for a SAN solution - Design and implement backup and recovery strategies - Conduct hands on training, present brown bags and mentor data management staff related to storage architecture and best practices - Hands on with industry leader Storage and back up technologies. - Multi-vendor and multi-organization storage architectural design experience *Solid understanding and hands on experience of the following concepts:* - Data Deduplication, Information Lifecycle Management, Storage Virtualization, Encryption technologies, SAN & NAS protocols, SAN & NAS logical and physical architectures, Storage hardware technologies, Backup and Recovery technologies, Data replication and disaster recovery strategies - Advanced understanding of architecture principles and design - Data encryption solutions for tape and storage arrays *General* - Proven excellent documentation and presentation skills - Proven excellent facilitation skills - Proven discovery and analysis skills - Good time management and status reporting - Practice SNIA architecture disciplines - Team player and open communicator *Duties:* * Job Description:* Storage architect will be responsible to assess the current storage, back up and recovery architecture, processes, inventory with the purpose to document current state, identifies inefficiencies, gaps and issues. The Storage architect will also be responsible to recommend short and long term solutions to address inefficiencies, gaps and issues. The recommendations to be substantiated with cost/benefit analysis, implementation plan and aligned with business objectives. Storage architect will be responsible for leading, planning, designing and training of proposed solutions. Storage architect will collaborate with Infrastructure architects, Storage and System administrators to propose best fit solutions.
