mid-level (5+ yrs) experience in managing projects that involve both IT and
Business acumen. 2. Successful candidates should have ability to manage
action items in several departments, i.e. REO Sales, National Underwriting
Center, and Operations/Central Service Group. 3. They will be managing and
following up on current action items with ongoing projects. They may be also
involved in new projects as defined by management and needs. 4. Should
possess professional demeanor and ability to work with all levels of
management. 5. Have ability to interview and begin assignment as soon as
possible, targeting December 7. 6. Will provide provide weekly status on

Overview of skills and job description: 

 

The Project Manager provides direct project management support to the
business lead through the project's scope and intended deliverables. The
Project Manager creates project plans and effectively identifies issues,
risks and mitigation plans to ensure the project's success. The Project
Manager advocate best practices, coordinates across projects and business
areas, and seamlessly implements project solutions. Clear and comprehensive
communications across the team and is required for project success. 

 

The specific responsibilities of this position include: 

. Serve as the point person for identifying, tracking and resolving all
major issues, risks and change control items across these projects. Manage
issues and risks resolution to ensure that all impacted stakeholders are
able to engage on the resolution of critical challenges. Coordinate
cross-organizational activities to optimize project decisions at the
divisional level. 

. Provides best practice project management of complex business initiatives
and utilizes project management disciplines to produce artifacts that
support compliance with Single Family Business, IT, Operations, FHFA, and
Sarbanes-Oxley (S-Ox) requirements as needed. Create key artifacts for all
projects to ensure that projects are thoroughly documented and provide audit
capabilities. 

. Ensure that all project stakeholders are consistently engaged on critical
business projects. Disseminate information to the project team, the business
sponsor and the senior management team, to ensure that all parties are able
to execute their duties. Develop content for each meeting forum to ensure
that all time is spent efficiently and effectively. Identify key discussion
points for each forum to ensure that each meeting focuses on identifying and
working to resolve critical issues across the project portfolio. 

. Align project scope and budget with priorities, and manage the tradeoffs
between objectives, given resource & budget constraints. . Work closely with
business leads to ensure smooth rollout of projects, providing optimal
solutions that can be implemented into day-to-day business operations. 

 

EXPERIENCE 

. 5+ years managing complex, mission critical projects years leading and
managing teams of high level professionals 

. 2 + years working in mortgage finance or a related field desired 

. Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration,
Information Systems or other quantitative discipline preferred

. Thorough understanding of project management best practices 

. Excellent time manager with strong work ethic and drive for excellence 

. Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including the ability
