Hands on test experience on wireless devices (RF test) highly desired. Networking experience highly useful, along with experience in both using and programming in Linux. Experience in installing software drivers for communication devices and debugging driver problems. Ability to ramp up quickly and learn how to operate both analog and digital test instruments. Ability to analyze and present data and document test procedures. Ideal candidate would have software experience in both Linux, and Vista operating systems. Also desirable would be experience in loading BIOS, upgrading operating systems and installing multiple OS's on PCs. Daily Responsibilities: Test equipment set up, collect and analyze data, debug software drivers, possibly porting of software (e.g. porting SW driver from Cardbus interface to SDIO interface) Please indicate % of travel required: 0-10% Necessary Skills (Must Have): BSEE (desired) or technician 2 year degree (min) 1) Hands on wireless device comms testing (RF testing, data throughput performance, power consumption) 2) Experience in using Linux.
