Description
If you are interested in this position that is 6 months but more then likely
will go 2 years.. Sorry but the rate is low. Position is in Colorado
Springs, CO.
Professional Experience: WebBased Development Manager Needed. Telecom
background is a must.
Technical Skills
Management experience leading developers with the following skills:
* Programming - Java
* Java Technologies - J2SDK, J2EE, EJB, Servlets, JSP
* IDE Tools - Eclipse or JDeveloper
* Database - Oracle versions
* Internet - XML, HTML
* Operating Systems - Solaris, Windows
* Source Code Control - CVS or similar
Key Work Responsibilities
* Manage and lead web based application projects to resolve application gaps
from requirements in a Federal Contract.
* Additional duties might include other development projects for a web based
application.
* Scheduling resource needs a project delivery dates with other management
staff in the organization.
* Consulting with internal stakeholders to propose design approaches, report
progress, and discuss issues.
* Interact with business and/or end user community to gather and analyze the
technical requirements.
* Manage delivery to the both the functional and non-functional
requirements, including performance, scalability, availability, reliability
and security.
* Design, develop and modify software systems
* Oversee and ensure project execution, ongoing success and deliverables
* Communicate cross-functionally throughout the organization
* Minimum of ten years Professional Experience in IT application development
management. Perfect candidate will have Telecom, Order Entry system
experience and leadership background (is a must). Looking for more technical
management/leadership experience
* Three years of experience managing web based applications with Federal
contract implications.
* Management experience required
* Demonstrated ability lead design, development and implementation of web
based applications using J2EE, Java, C++, and Oracle PL/SQL.
* Results oriented and committed to meet the goal.
* Experienced in working in tight schedules meeting deadlines.
* Strong background in working with the client to define business processes
and develop high-level functional requirements.
* Excellent work ethics, self-motivated, quick learner and team oriented.
* Continually provides value-added services to the clients through
thoughtful experience, productive coding habits, and excellent logical
aptitude and communication skills.
