Location : Warren,NJ
Duration : 6 months
Rate : competative.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Five or more years of experience on one or more of the following UNIX
Platforms
Red Hat Linux, SuSE Linux, AIX, Sun/Sparc
Three or more years of experience in Java and any exposure to C/C++, C# or
Fortran.
Corresponding competency with all the following build processes/tools:
Make, ANT, NANT, and Maven builds processes (technology appropriate),
One of IBM Build Forge, Continuum, Cruise Control, or similar Application
Life Cycle Management (ALM) system with Continuous Integration,
Knowledge/Experience with iterative development processes such as Agile
(and tools that support the process)
Modeling tools (IBM Rational RSM, RSA), Architecture/Re-use (e.g. IBM
Rational RSA)
Any experience as a contributor or moderator in the open source community
considered a plus.
Corresponding experience with IDE's and tools:
Forte, Eclipse, Netbeans, Rational Application Developer or similar
plug-in based IDE
Debugging (e.g. Junit, others), Memory Leak Tools (e.g. Purify),
Performance Profiling Tools (e.g. JProbe).
Static Code Analysis a plus (Fortify, Findbugs)
And corresponding experience writing and deploying applications onto one or
more of the following application servers:
Websphere, Weblogic, WASCE, equivalent.
And corresponding experience with any development frameworks/APIs and other
technologies examples cited
Web Services (SOAP and REST), UI/RIA (Flash/Flex, JavaFX, Silverlight),
Table/Chart/Graph (e.g. JClass), Spring, Hibernate,
C/C++ Object Encapsulation (e.g. Rogue Wave Source Pro, other STL),
Math/Statistics (e.g. Visual Numerics)
Preference given to candidates with experience in one or more of: TiBCO
ESB, AquaLogic BPM
Five or more years of experience in two or more of the following scripting
languages:
Perl, Python, Ruby, UNIX Shell (any, KSH, Bourne preferred),
Three or more years working with relational databases:
Sybase, Oracle, with Erwin, Toad, SQL Developer, or other database
design tools.
Comprehensive knowledge in one or more of the following package formats:
System V, RPM, BFF
Experience with any major source control systems:
Subversion, Perforce, Clearcase, Visual Source Safe, other
