Location: Union,NJ Duration:6+ months Description: Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 1) Provide expert-level design and engineering support for major Networking projects & initiatives within CLIENT Wealth Management Americas domain. Work closely with senior Service Delivery experts, project managers, business clients and engineering peers from other disciplines in order to deliver appropriate technical designs, while complying with global CLIENT technology standards Cisco Network Engineer 2) Perform hands-on technical certifications of new products & technologies, and lab validations of engineering designs. Develop detailed test plans and success criteria in preparation for testing/certification activities. Produce detailed documentation and test reports for management and peer review. 3) Provide engineering-level support for production implementations of new designs and technologies. Develop detailed implementation plans working closely with SD teams. Perform mentoring and knowledge transfer to senior support specialists, in order to facilitate smooth transition of new designs and products to full time operational support. 4) Act as 3rd-level (last resort) internal escalation point to internal Service Delivery (support) organization for critical production and product performance issues. Interface with networking vendors (Cisco, HP, Juniper) in an effort to identify the root cause and recommend changes to product standards to prevent re-occurrences. Strong network engineer and with advanced Cisco Routing and WAN skills, working as part of global company IP engineering team. CCIE or equivalent level skill set is a must. Candidates lacking in-depth technology expertise and engineering/design experience need not apply. Experience with working in large financial IT organizations is a must. Experience with Market Data will be highly beneficial. BS Desgree, or higher, is a MUST.
