*Location:* Fairfield, CT *Duration:* 6 months *GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES* Sseeking a Sr. Quality Software Engineer/ Tech Lead to join a new product team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing a cost effective, long-term automation strategy promoting reusable components, low maintenance costs, high efficiency and scalability. The scope of the position is: • Designs, researches and develops components of test architecture for a new platform • Design an infrastructure to validate the requirements, functionality and performance goals for the particular product • Identify the bottlenecks in the system during architecture and design This is a "hands on" position where the person will be expected to dive into the requirements of the Quality Engineering department, and design and develop manual and automated regression tests to be implemented in a new platform. It is expected that the candidate in this position will work with Software Development groups, QE Automation Engineers, as well as in-house and over-seas contracted personnel. The candidate will have strong lab management skills, possessing the ability to configure servers at the hardware and software levels. Solid communications and project management skills will be required. The person must satisfy required experience and must be passionate about staying current with the latest test automation tools on the market, as well as constantly striving to apply the latest in enhancement techniques into the test automation platforms. *REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:* • Minimum of 7 years recent experience in the full life cycle of product development environments in planning, code development and implementation efforts, utilizing industry standard performance automation tools such as Quick Test Professional (QTP) and LoadRunner. • Solid understanding of UNIT, white-box, functional, system, performance, technical and operational testing and tools utilization. • 3+ years experience in architecting and building complex functions and methods in a product development environment. • 3+ years performance analysis experience; full life cycle test, writing test plans, developing test strategies, implementing test strategies, stress testing, performance testing, endurance testing. • 3+ years experience in developing simulator applications that drives physical devices that is subsequently controlled by an industry standard automation tools, such as Quick Test Professional (QTP) and LoadRunner is desired. • Experience in parallel development and continuous integration, like Agile. • Recent experience in VoIP telephony. • Experience in IP and networking protocols and architectures. • Experience in security, including security of networks, servers, and VoIP systems. • Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects. • Linux, Windows, UNIX, Cisco, SQL, Avaya or Nortel PBX Administration, Octel or Audix voicemail administration. *REQUIRED EDUCATION* • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required. • Masters Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred. -- Thanks&Regards Madhukar.Doppalapudi [email protected] 678-799-8602 --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
