Required Technical Skills:
Minimum 5 years Application development experience
5-7 years Natural / ADABAS Experience both with Report Mode and Structured
5-7 years MVS/CICS with TSO and JCL
3 years OOA & D
Experience with EntireX including ACI and RPC calls Performance tuning Natural
applications for optimum efficiency Required Non Technical Skills A minimum of
5 years IT experience on multiple platforms / technologies Demonstrated success
and strong experience with problem-solving abilities Strong written and verbal
communication skills and ability to work with non-technical Users Experience
with the complete SDLC Project Management Nice to have Technical Skills
Maxi-Merlin Application experience Trim experience SAP integration Java SOA
development SAP Integration Nice to have non technical Skills Airline industry
experience
Job Responsibilites:
This position will involve participation on an application development Team
that provides baseline support, develops enhancements to existing applications,
and will be responsible for developing the integration between applications
used by the Maintenance Department and a new ERP. The position will be
approximately 40 - 50% support responsibilities and 50 - 60% development
activities. On-call support is shared across the Team and is required
approximately 2 weeks every three months.
The Team has approximately 17 members. 10 of the Teammembers work primarily on
various mainframe efforts providing both baseline support and development
services. 7 of the Teammembers work primarily on J2EE applications, services,
and third party applications.
These candidates will be responsible for developing integration between current
Maintenance applications and a new ERP. Obviously, the Natural/ADABAS knowlege
is non-negotiable.
