Location: Johnston, RI Duration: 6 Months Description: Client provides comprehensive global commercial and industrial property insurance, engineering-driven underwriting and risk management solutions, groundbreaking property loss prevention research and prompt, professional claims handling. Client is looking for a Sharepoint Administrator to come work on a 6 month contract. Candidate should have light level development experience, but this is not a development role. Sharepoint at Client has come complete with out of the box features and components. They will not be customizing Sharepoint but will be using it the way it came. This Sharepoint Admin should have the following qualifications: - 2-3 years minimum Sharepoint Experience - Experience installing and configuring medium sized MOSS Servers - Experience creating site collections, documenting libraries, lists, workflows, and Content and data collections - Security Experience = assigning user permissions - Involved with creating security groups with role based access - Some deployment work customizing features but mostly involved with performing day-to-day administration and maintenance, analysis and reports - Experience working with out of box features and components Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS) is the full version of a portal based platform for collaborating, creating, managing, and sharing documents and web services. MOSS Enables users to create "Sharepoint Portals" that include shared workspace applications, blogs, wikis, and other documents accessible through a web browser.
