The Enabling Services group is chartered with launching a customized version of the SharePoint 2007 MOSS portal for all US employees. This is a multi-year initiative for the group and provides new development opportunities for the Enabling Services. This is a technical career track position. A. The candidate will be looked upon to lead and participate in (hands on) small to mid size projects that make up the US Portal. The candidate is expected to have excellent familiarity with development standards, best practices and a well rounded understanding of the Microsoft .Net architecture. The candidate is also expected to have current hands-on development and architecture experience. B. Projects will be .Net and SharePoint Server 2007 driven. Accordingly, qualified candidates should have hands on experience with these platforms. C. Depending on the assigned project, duration and complexity, the candidate may be expected to be the only technical representative from the enabling Services team for the duration of the project. Therefore, hands on design and development work are anticipated. D. The candidate is expected have strong communication skills, particularly with regards to technical design specifications and verbal communication. E.
