Location: NYC Duration: 3-6 months Description: Our firm is currently seeking a SQL server Developer with heavy Datawarehouse experience. *DESCRIPTION: * Consultant will report to both a Senior Project Manager and the Director of IT as well being responsible for participating in the design and implementation of the SQL Server2005 development and the ETL process for the groups Data Warehouse. Migration from SQL2000 to SQL2005 *QUALIFICATIONS: -* At least 5+ years of experience creating and implementing ETL strategies for an enterprise sized data warehouse. Healthcare experience is required, - at least 5 years experience of providing ownership, management, design, development and support to ETL strategies. - Expert knowledge of SQL Server 2005, SSIS ETL technology and technically excellent in all areas of SQL Server development including stored procedures, functions and triggers as well as clustering and T-SQL. - Experience of designing strategies for ETL load balance, exception handling and high data volumes. - Proven expertise in Data warehouse and Data Marts methodologies as well as extensive knowledge of OLTP/OLAP technologies. - Experience with *SQL Server Analysis Services cubes is a must*. - Must have been exposed to full SDLC process - Ability to research and trouble-shoot healthcare application problems - Must be able to develop SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages to transform data from SQL 2000 to MS SQL 2005, very important as some of their clients are on SQL200 that need to migrate over. Create interface stored procedures used in SSIS to load/transform data to the database. - Reconcile data for transformation from SQL 2000 to SQL 2005 using SSIS.
