Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 6+ Months Functional Title: Developer Overall Experience: 04-06 Yrs. Position Description: The successful candidate will work within US Derivatives and Equity Linked Technology department contributing to the development of the next generation structured products Middle Office Platform. This will include: - Implementing strategic components in the Middle Office Platform. These include Life Cycle Management, Document Generation, OTC Contract Reporitory. - Liaising with the global development teams to coordinate enterprise development efforts - Interacting with the business, control functions & business development to understand their issues and implement solutions The ideal candidate will have experience of • automated testing, FIT testing, JUnit, Selenium and other automated test frameworks • Java, Web services • OO design • Oracle • AJAX The ideal candidate should have a desire to be immersed in the US EQ derivatives business and will have a strong focus on delivering complex technical solutions that meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will be expected to liaise with internal clients and credibility in domain knowledge, delivery experience as well as relationship building skills with such clients will be essential The candidate must be able to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical and technical staff across cultural and geographic boundaries Have a willingness to work in a high pressured environment. Respond well in extremely high pressure situations by demonstrating ownership and delivery capability.
