*Job Description: *

We are looking for an exceptional individual with both process redesign and
automated workflow development / application integration experience.  The
platforms in place include Java and Oracle Fusion Middleware 10g technology
components including Portal, JDeveloper, BPEL, JSP, EJB, servlets, MVC etc.
as well as the Oracle eBusiness suite, including workflow.  This position
requires good communication skills to understand and clarify the business
objectives, along with strong technical and analytical skills with Oracle
technologies, as well as experience in managing vendors who are developing
customizations. The candidate will be required to work with the other team
members, (i.e. business, technical and vendor) and business users to
document the business requirements and technical designs for system
enhancements.  The candidate will also be responsible for defining the
integration strategy for both Oracle and non-Oracle applications.

*Job Responsibilities:*

•Architect and design enhancements for a dynamic Licensing Deal Management
workflow system to satisfy complex business requirements.

•Participate and/or act as technical lead for all technical designs and
documentation.

•Working with vendors and business team members, develop technical
specifications and application design documents, and review the design
documents created by others.

•Review and identify appropriate technology components and products which
may be required to provide additional functionality.  For future projects,
coordinate such component and/or product demonstrations with IT and Business
management, present alternate technology options for implementing sub-sets
of functionality and provide product, component and vendor evaluations.

•Provide technical documentation for projects, recommend naming conventions
for components, objects developed and/or customized during product
implementation.

•Assume complete ownership of the documentation of the technical
architecture, custom components implemented, and the configuration
parameters at the application and OS level.

•Design architectural framework and identify appropriate hardware components
required, including sizing the hardware and storage needs, recommending
hardware schema and components for the selected solution and making
appropriate installation decisions with the certified product implementers /
integrators.

•Make design decisions that are logical and best suited to the product or
the development platform used for implementing the solution, based on
industry-standard tools and processes.

•Validate estimates of the amount of work and/or time required to complete
technical tasks for system customizations.

•Independently create project plans, and review project plans presented by
implementation partners/integrators.  Manage deliverables of technical
resources on these projects, including escalating risks and issues in a
timely manner, providing risk mitigation plan and ensuring completion of
technical tasks on the projects on time and within budget.

•Prepare documentation for administrative reasons as well as planning,
design, testing, and cutover for such projects.

•Work closely with project management, business analysts, business
stakeholders and other technology team members.

•Must communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff
members to help the group complete projects, make decisions, and achieve
goals.

•Maintain streamlined, organized development and production code
environments.

•Provide technical leadership, mentoring and training to project teams
across multiple projects.

•Provide regular status updates and escalate issues in a timely manner to
Business and IT management.

•Manage application support operations once all systems have gone live
including managing the support team, assuming overall responsibility for
timely resolution of all production issues, providing regular status reports
to Business and IT management and independently conduct meetings with
customers/key stakeholders.

*QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:*

•5+ years prior experience as a technical lead or equivalent

•4+ years experience with assessment and implementation of content
management, asset management solutions required. Should be aware of the
latest technology advances in the area of content / asset management
solutions and the future technology trend of vendors in this industry
vertical.

•3+ years hands-on working experience on Integration projects using with Oracle
Fusion tools (BPEL or BAM – at least any one), Oracle Portal technologies is
a must.

•3+ years working knowledge of Single Sign On Integration using Oracle
Portal, E-Business Suite and other non-oracle applications and products
required.

•Overall knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and BPEL required.

•Prior development experience using Java, Oracle (Advanced SQL*plus and
PL/SQL), Struts (or similar framework), Hibernate (or similar persistence
layer), JSP; server side Java programming i.e. JavaBeans, J2EE web component
standards, concurrency issues (threading), standard OO design patterns, XML,
data binding a plus

•Good knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, UNIX highly desirable

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

•Fundamental knowledge of database design.

•General overall knowledge of web technologies.

•Experience with developing web applications and other business applications
preferred.

•Knowledge of development best practices and application development
life-cycle.

•Ability to manage, gather and drive requirements and develop customer
solutions as appropriate.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong
interpersonal capabilities required, including ability to interact
independently with end users/stakeholders, provide status updates, make
presentations.

•Knowledge of industry standard application and web servers.

•Ability to lead technical team and conduct basic project management tasks.

•Ability to manage stress well under difficult situations and when dealing
with project deadlines.

•Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

•Ability to effectively manage application support effort and lead the
support team
