Location: Marlboro,MA Duration: Contract to Hire Description: Websphere MQ Admin With Weblogic exp Unix or Windows exp is a must. The candidate's main objective will be to perform the installation, configuration and day-to-day tasks that ensure smooth and efficient operation of WebSphere MQ/Message Broker & SonicMQ environments, including setup of the networks with MQ Qmgrs, MessageBrokers & SonicMQ Brokers across multiple platforms. Knowledge of ActiveMQ will be an added advantage. Additionally, the candidate will be able to perform advanced troubleshooting across platforms, and analyze architecture and security issues. The candidate will be involved in planning, designing and implementing the Messaging environment for high availability, recoverability and reliability. Additional responsibilities include system management and maintenance, conducting performance tuning and troubleshooting across platforms. The candidate will communicate with third-party vendors for problem tickets resolutions related to a messaging environment. He/she will develop detailed technical documentation with regard to WebSphere MQ, Message Broker, and SonicMQ environments. Furthermore, he/she will provide technical leadership and mentoring, promoting adherence to standardized IT processes, strategic principles and architectural standards. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems (or related field) in addition to 3-5 years of experience implementing Websphere MQ and/or SonicMQ. Must have in-depth administration knowledge with various middleware messaging tools. Knowledge of Qpasa, Appwatch will be a plus. Also need to have experience with Clustering, Failover concepts and UNIX.
