*Data Warehouse Project Manager* 1 month to start Austin TX *MUST BE LOCAL TO TEXAS!!!* Client is currently in the planning stage of an enterprise data warehouse / business intelligence initiative with the following objectives: • Establishment of an enterprise Business Intelligence Competency Center (BICC). • Establish processes for data management and governance standards. • Assess the technical alternatives towards implementation of an enterprise data warehouse. • Establish agency governance processes for project management of the initiative. • Set up the organizational structure, processes, and standards necessary for the enterprise data warehouse. Worker responsibilities will include: • Providing leadership in the formation of the Health and Human Services (HHS) Business Intelligence competency practices, standards and staffing, including effective management as assigned of overall and daily activities of enterprise-level teams focused on data governance, data management, quality assurance, data modeling, and advanced analytics / reporting. • Communicating and coordinating with agency-level BI projects and centers of excellence to achieve enterprise-level goals and objectives. • Communicating and coordinating closely with the enterprise data warehouse technical team and other initiative teams to provide timely and complete deliverables supporting the successful implementation of the enterprise data warehouse initiative. • Interpreting and communicating new and changing business requirements to determine the impact on the enterprise data warehouse initiative. • Providing planning and estimates for and review of project management lifecycle documentation. • Manage resources and processes associated with the HHSC BICC as assigned. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Years Skills/Experience • 10yr---- Experience in vendor management, resource management and project financial evaluation and management. • 10yr---- Demonstrated ability to work on complex business problems, analyzing and evaluating current business methods and procedures for improvements. • 10yr---- Proven ability to perform customer relationship management with various program areas from the leadership level to the operational level. • 8yr---- Prior experience in managing organizations or teams of 25 or more business analysis and technical staff. • 8yr---- Experience in managing meetings, committees, or workgroups involving high visibility stakeholders. • 8yr---- Strong organizational, coordination, analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills. • 8yr----Experience in presenting, negotiating, and communicating effectively with high-level sponsors, directors, managers, and supervisors. • 8yr---- Experience with MS/Office Suite, Visio, and Project. • 6yr---- Leadership and project management experience in the business intelligence / data warehousing domain including knowledge of framework concepts in dimensional modeling, extract transform and load (ETL) and business intelligence. • 5yr---- Involvement in the establishment of organization structures and processes related to business intelligence / data warehousing. • 5yr---- Experience implementing business intelligence / data warehousing projects for enterprise organizations (agencies or companies) of more than 10,000 staff. • 5yr---- Experience with presenting, coordinating, and communicating to stakeholders at the CIO, Senior Director, and CEO levels down to operational staff levels. • 5yr---- Demonstrated ability to act in consulting role(s) on BI projects to understand functional business processes, related technical needs, and to develop solution proposals. • Yes---- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or computer science field. -- Thanks&Regards Madhukar 678-799-8602 [email protected] --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
