Administers all aspects of the mainframe storage environment for DASD. Responsibilities include mainframe Systems Managed Storage customization, DASD provisioning and reclamation, all aspects of ICF catalog administration and recovery, disaster recovery backup administration, DASD replication administration, DASD and tape maintenance JCL administration, VTOC/VVDS diagnosis and corrective action, assisting users with storage related issues and questions, 24x7 support, recommend and implement changes to the environment to ensure reliable cost-effective use of all tiers of mainframe storage, maintain and enhance in-house written SAS and REXX scripts, project duties as required to support the business and clients.
