Dear Partners, Position:.NET Architect/ SharePoint Project Manager Responsibilities:
Candidate will function as a technical resource on the US Portal webpart integration. This is a technical position with light project management duties (PM 10%-Technical-90%). The candidate is expected to have excellent familiarity with development standards, best practices and a well rounded understanding of the Microsoft .Net architecture. The candidate is also expected to have current hands-on development and architecture experience. B. Projects will be .Net and SharePoint Server 2007 driven. Accordingly, qualified candidates should have hands on experience with these platforms. C. Depending on the assigned project, duration and complexity, the candidate may be expected to be the only technical representative for the duration of the project. Therefore, hands on design and development work EXPERIENCE are anticipated. D. The candidate is expected have strong communication skills, particularly with regards to technical design specifications and verbal communication. E. Successful candidate will contribute to project planning activities and will work closely with other organizations to make sure application development leverages common application platform and guidelines. Other Responsibilities * Work with business analysts as well as use cases to implement best architecture approaches. DO NOT USE THIRD PARTY CONTRACTORS Technical Skills: C#, WCF, WEB SERVICES AND MOSS WEB PART development ARE A REQUIREMENT. Ability to build out VM enivornments are a PLUS and a difference maker. Experience with enterprise portals Design Experience: * Object Oriented Analysis & Design * Design methodologies and modeling languages such as UML, ER modeling, process modeling (DFDs, BPEL4WS) * Experience creating standards, templates, procedures, and policies for a shared development environment * Experience presenting and advocating for design solutions Software Engineering Background: * 5 + years software engineering experience Technical Experienced Desired: * Understanding of Network Architecture Components and Windows Operating System * Experience with technologies supporting Web Services: XML, Soap, WSDL, UDDI etc * Experience with .Net Framework and Tools: ASP.Net, C#, VB.NET * Experience with SharePoint 2003 or 2007 (MOSS) Location:NJ Duration: 6+ Months Rate:DOE This spot requires a f2f interview with the client.
