*J2SE DEVELOPER * *Location: Boston, Mass.** local to Boston, Massachusetts*** *Duration: 12 months +*** *Rate: $45 hr.*** MA J2SE developer - J2SE Developer Description: *Require a strong core (J2SE) Java developer to work on development projects aimed at furthering the level of integration between BladeLogic Operations Manager and various LDAP directories. Candidates must be familiar with commonly used Java design patterns, LDAP, Active Directory and JNDI and C/C++ skills are a plus. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develops and tests product code according to quality standards • Maintains knowledge of product environments and applicable software technologies • Provides complete documentation in the form of commented code, problem status information, and design documents • Performs thorough problem analysis that results in resolution of product-related problems according to support standards • Carries out thorough unit testing; supports systems and integration testing as required to provide a quality product • Assists in marketing of the clients products as required by PM&D management • Provides input to the Technical Writers for all product documentation • Defines the functional specification of program modules ensuring functionality, quality and ease of maintainability • Accurately estimates the size and scope of the development effort as measured by the product delivery schedule SKILLS: • 3-5 years in a similar role • Bachelor’s Degree • Minimum of 2+ years experience in programming software for operating systems, utilizing machine assembly and/or high-level languages, and knowledge of software capabilities • Physical Requirements: Light physical exertion, routine bending and lifting may be required.
