Project Description:
*The One Point Universal System (OPUS) is an CLIENT system that enables
employees to activate equipment, assist customers with their mobile phone
accounts and perform Point-of-Sale (POS) activities. OPUS is primarily used
in retail stores. It provides point of sale, customer service, activation,
inventory and accounting functionality for retail stores and kiosks. OPUS is
used by direct agents. Direct agents are stores owned by CLIENT.***
Job Description:
*Includes the following but not limited to: * Develop Unix shell scripts to
deploy application. * Deploy J2EE applications on Weblogic servers. *
Support and configure Test/Production environments with day-to-day
activities. * Remote PC Management using SMS. * Debug/Support existing J2EE
applications. * Provide guidance, leadership and mentoring to peers and less
experienced team members. * Work in a fast paced, test-driven collaborative
and iterative programming environment. * Follow company software
development/deployment processes and standards. Demonstrate technical
leadership experience including managing timelines in a fast-paced
environment. * Stays current with rapidly changing technology and applies it
to business needs. * Must be able to effectively communicate technical
information to both technical and non-technical personnel.***
