Target Start Date : ASAP* *Project Background:* The purpose of this request is to obtain contractor services to assist ITO by converting the existing PATS application reports from the Crystal reporting environment to our standard WebFocus reporting environment and then enhance the report to meet the current reporting needs of the users. These services will consist of analyzing the reporting needs of the end users and creating, testing and implementing WebFocus reports. The proposed candidate must be well versed in WebFocus including developer, dashboard and MRE, Crystal Reports, IBM DB2, SQL and stored procedures. *Description of work:* The Information Technology Office (ITO) requires a Category 3 – Applied Technologies Systems, Senior Application Developer/Analyst, to assist with a project for approximately six months. The consultant will develop and document the reporting requirements by analyzing the existing reports for the PATS application and propose a solution on how best to recreate those reports using our WebFocus reporting environment. The consultant will then create, test, and implement the agreed to solution and will be required to manage and direct all phases of the project life cycle including project planning, architecting, developing, testing, and implementation of the WebFocus reporting solution. The selected candidate will be under the direct supervision of the ITO Project Manager or their designee. *Description of Deliverables:* The selected consultant will work directly with the necessary ITO and MCS staff to gather and document all of the necessary program specifications and of the work necessary to complete each project. The selected individual will develop, test and implement the agreed to reporting solution. The selected individual will be responsible for efficient use of any assigned resources and will ensure that all ITO standards and guidelines are met and adhered to during all phases of the project. *Skill Level requirements* *Skills* *Requirements (Years)* Experience creating reports using WebFocus including (Developer studio, Dashboards, Report Caster and MRE). 5 Experience creating reports Crystal Reports. 5 Experience working with IBM’s DB2. 5 Undertakes responsibility for analyzing system requirements and work flow analysis. Required Prepares design and programming specifications and codes program modules to produce operational application programs Required Prepares test documentation and test programs. Required Must be experienced with the hardware, software languages and utilities associated with the category. Required Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English. Required Experience designing and coding using Structured Query Language (SQL) Additional Desired Skill Experience coding and using DB2 stored procedures.
