Details are as follows:



*Data Management Governance Group at a Bank is working on a Non-Security
Reference database project that houses all of the information about their
funds, accounts, Clients, brokers etc (Not Market Data). *

*They are moving from their current non-security reference database to a new
system.*

*This is a Data Management Governance project and they do NOT need systems
people, they have a group that is
doing that, he is looking for someone with business side/operational
experience.
They will be working with the business users to get information on the
account set up's, subscriptions and redemptions, fund structures, etc. *

*They will be taking the procedures that they are currently using with their
funds, accounts, clients, brokers and defining them into data points to go
into the new system.  *



Questions to ask:
**what is your fund operations experience and where did you do that?
*have you worked with non security reference data previously and where?
*have you worked with subscriptions and redemptions?  What is that?
*have you worked on account set up from a operational perspective, where,
when?*



*SSGA is seeking a Intermediate PM/SR BA for a 6m+ project at One Lincoln
Street.  *


The PM/SR BA:


*plans, organizes and controls the activities of business analysis function.

Coordinates business participants to determine requirements for captured
reference data projects.*

*Develops business requirements and documents processes related to reference
data projects.*

*Leads the preparation of business case, cost/benefit analysis, contingency
planning and risk assessment.
Oversees the development of recommendations regarding systems or process
design solutions and process improvements. Develops and ensures the quality
of applicable project life cycle deliverables.*

*Serves as a subject matter resource for systems and business line staff. *



Minimum Job Specs:



*Bachelors Degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent. MBA a
plus.
At least 7 years of related professional experience - either in financial
operations or systems design.
Experience with project management methodology.
Very strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong management, project
management and leadership skills.
Very strong relationship management skills. *
