Location: Memphis, TN Duration: 8 – 11 Months Title: Senior Java Developer Description: - Requires 5 yrs (senior level) JAVA coding experience in a J2EE environment (J2EE technologies include: EJB, Servlets, JSP, JSF, JSM, JDBC, WebServices, etc) - ILOG JRules experience is a strong MUST. ILOG is the company, JRules is the product. It is a JAVA *Business Rules*Management System. - Eclipse is also a strong preference. Eclipse is an open source IDE (integrated development environment) that FedEx uses within their J2EE environment Must have excellent communication skills and a 4-yr degree in Computer Science or MIS or related degree is strongly preferred. - As part of corporate wide “Renewal” project this specific project will consolidate 6 different FedEx shipping engines (with 6 different rules engines) into 1 shipping engine called CSHP (C Ship). They really want to make sure that they getsa good resource here. - Besides strong JAVA and J2EE (with EJB, JSP, WebServices, etc) the *key will be someone who actually has solid experience with JRules* (*more than 1 or 2 projects*) and preferably with *shipping *experience. - MUST have EXCELLENT communication skills. - They will make a decision by Thurs this week.
