Description: *QA Execution Manager *
Shared Testing Services is responsible for providing testing services
including test planning, test cases development, test execution and test
environment management. It serves a pivotal role in the delivery of high
quality software to our clients. The testing is primarily delivered through
a managed capacity vendor model combining on and off shore staff.
*MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE: *
- Work with the global head of Shared Testing services for Operations,
Product Control and Risk IT to design and implement the organizational model
for the group
- Partner with Operations, Product Control and Risk IT managers to
define, plan and deliver high quality testing services
- Select and interface with offshore vendors to deliver the testing
services for multiple application teams
- Manage multiple vendor testing teams (onshore/offshore delivery
model)
- Ensure delivery of high quality testing services
- Prepare and present status reporting for client and IT senior
management
Special Circumstances:
Regular off hours contact with testing teams deployed to the Asia
Pacific region

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Ability to undertake large/small scale project management
• Enthusiastic learner and an excellent team player.
• Strong communications skills (listening as well as verbal)
• 8+ years work experience in the securities industry
• 3+ years work experience managing a small/medium sized team of
technology professionals
• Experience with vendor management
• Quality Assurance / Testing experience
• Project Management Tools & Techniques
• Proficient in MS Project, VISIO and Office suite application
• Financial /brokerage experience
*Desirable: *
• Strategic planning / organization design and implementation
• Global team management
• Testing tools (e.g. Quality Center, WinRunner, JTest, etc.)
