Location: Lee's Summit, MO Rate: $40/Max..At least 7 Years of work experience Face to face interview is required so need someone local or from nearby state who can make it for face to face on his own Highlighted skill is a must. This position will support the client transition, transformation, and run. This includes install, monitor and maintain UNIX servers - Mainly AIX and VMware. This position will also participate in the maintenance of UNIX based backup and recovery systems and participate in the implementation, and ongoing administration of multiple SAN architectures such as IBM and EMC The successful candidate will also participate in the testing, and maintenance of High Availability ( HACMP) server fail-over configurations. This position will participate in a 24x7 support and require some off hour and weekend work. The successful candidate will also need to have excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language. Specialized/Practical Knowledge: The successful candidate will need 3-4 years experience in UNIX server administration with an emphasis in AIX and Vmware. Experience supporting client/server based ERP solutions. Strong technical (e.g. systems design) and analytical skills, including the ability to understand and convey complex technical information. Knowledge of networking, primarily TCP/IP and Storage networking. Experience with system clustering products particularly HACMP. Knowledge of shell scripting . Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Experience developing and maintaining technical procedures and documentation.
