Please let me know who you have available. *Job Title:* Senior Java Developer *Location:* Boston, MA Additional Notes for Java J2EE from the hiring manager: The project will involve working on an existing application, but refactoring and enhancing the design will be expected. *In terms of toolsets the following have been mentioned:* - Experience with Java Server Faces, specifically with Apache Tomahawk - Composite Server is a big plus - JReport experience is a big plus - PL/SQL & Solid database knowledge is a must Strong J2EE/SQL Java Developer. *UPDATE:* There is a change in the profile for the second position based on internal restructuring. Portal experience is no longer a requirement. The candidate should be strong with J2EE and SQL skills. JReports experience is a plus. *Job Description:* Client is looking for a Senior Java/J2EE developer, well-versed in Oracle, to serve as the lead developer on a team of up to 3 developers working on a new equity research platform for a large investment firm. This application will require capturing information from many access points (the main application and other applications). *Consultant must have prior investment industry experience. Any experience specifically with equity research systems would be highly desirable. Overall, work will be a mix of both front and backend development. Person will serve as the lead/go-to person on the team and will help out with code reviews of the others. Person will also be asked to pinch hit on other related applications. * *Java 5 and SQL are a must have. Hibernate is a plus. In terms of front end development; Swing and Ajax are good skills to have.
