Location: Memphis,TN Duration: 5+ Months Description: This is part of the Renewal initiative and basically the team, which consists of BA’s, Data Analysts and Data Modelers, will be looking at a large 40 TB Teradata data warehouse with over 100 sources of data coming into the DW. The Data Analysts will need to analyze the data to profile what kind of data is there?, is the data duplicated?, is the data accurate?, how is the data used by the business?, and how can it be consolidated?, etc. This is largely a manual process but experience using Word, Excel, Visio as a Business Analyst and Data Analyst will be required. The Data Analyst will have experience with data warehousing and is basically a BA with data warehousing experience and may have some data modeling skills. Will be very analytical and detail oriented. Full-fledged Data Modelers will be over qualified and probably too expensive for this role. The technical environment within the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) group is Teradata (Data Warehouse), Power Designer (data modeling tool like Erwin), Business Objects (Business Intelligence tools) and Ab Initio, so any exposure to these technologies will be a big plus.
