This includes but is not limited to cell definition within the MSC and RNC, Node B rehomes, BSC/RNC rehomes, 911 phase changes and many special projects related to the RAN. Engineers perform remote data translations in varying types of equipment and technologies (2G, 3G UMTS) to support our wireless infrastructure. In many cases the position requires the engineers to create and document methods and procedures, work within larger project teams, and create and test configuration scripts prior to implementation. The engineers must also attend project calls and perform off hours work. The engineers are SME's as it relates to MSC's, RNC/BSC's, and Node B/Cell Sites remote data translations.
