Understanding of workflow concepts. • Some JSP. *Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements. * *Description: * *Department Overview * Operations IT is a department of around 180 people responsible for development and support of systems used by Global Operations across all product categories. The organizational unit is Cross Product Operations IT, which is responsible for systems which support multiple business streams. *Main Function * The Enterprise Account Management team is looking for an experienced Java developer. Consultant will be in the Reference Data team which is responsible for counterparty data across business lines. The team maintains a number of strategic repositories that source, maintain, validate and distribute reference data to all systems in the firm. *Main Duties * Responsible for implementing new application components, integrating and enhancing existing components, and synchronizing data from various sources. Work as a key player in a small development group tasked with a broad set of components to maintain and enhance. Participate in analysis, design and primarily development of new functionality for the application. Make design decisions based upon trade-offs between performance and data integrity. Understand a variety of J2EE components (from messaging to web services) and how to maximize the best use of each technology. Self-motivated and capable of working in a dynamic environment that demands multi-tasking.
