Thanks!* *Job Description* Business Process Developer • Manager is not looking for an architect. • Candidate will be writing/coding/interacting with development groups, etc. • Candidate must be able to deal with chance • Must be able to develop and deliver *will be conducting phone screens then in person interview. Project Summary: This position will carry out design and development tasks associated with multiple Thomson Reuters Wealth Management strategic initiatives. Projects to include new product offerings, enhancements to existing revenue producing products, maintenance of existing products, integration efforts focusing on Thomson Reuters initiatives or 3rd party applications or services. Essential day to day responsibilities: This role will receive directions from the team lead/mentor and will have latitude on how to perform the task. Essential day-to-day responsibilities include performing coding assignments, unit testing, ensuring development standards are being followed, and analyzing functional specifications to determine technical approach to software design/implementation, producing technical specifications and unit testing scripts, and participating in team code reviews and impact assessments. Other duties will include; Production support and subsequent defect research, root cause analysis and resolution. Assistance in technical and/or system documentation may be needed to aid support teams. Education: Bachelor’s degree Industry Experience: *Financial Industry Required skills: • Minimum 3 years experience developing software with Microsoft Development Studio. • At least 2 years experience with the Microsoft .Net development framework - focusing on C# and ASP.Net. • Other skills include XML, Web focused development, SQL Server, Object Orientated Design and Programming, Multi-Tier Application Architectures, Analysis and Design background, sound communication and technical documentation skills. *• Must be a team player Skills candidate must already possess: • Must be team motivated and be able to work in a team environment • Must have excellent communication skills • Must be able to document what they do Optional skills: Experience with Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC), nUnit, Performance Engineering, User Experience Design, Project Management (nice to have).
