*Perl Developer* *Location:St. Paul, MN-based client.* *Duration:5 months* NEED LOCALS Required Skills: • Demonstrated experience in all phases from design to release of production systems. • Strong analytic thinking skills. • 6+ years programming preferably in Perl, C, C++ • SQL (any variant) experience (5+ years experience would be a HUGE plus) • 2+ years experience with UNIX or Linux variant. • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience. Desired Skills: • Familiarity with agile development techniques beneficial. • Optional languages: XML, HTML, Java, Python, Ruby. • Optional products: Sybase SQL Server, Apache, modperl, Mason, CGI, Augosys, Bugzilla, Wiki, CVS Roles and Responsibilities: Working as a senior software engineer in the Unix environment. Primary skills used will be Perl, Sybase, SQL and general Unix utilities.
