Communication and Presentation skills are critical. *JOB DESCRIPTION *** • Partners with business stakeholders, business analysts, systems analysts and team members to understand business requirements and correlate potential technology solutions. • Drives the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. • Must be able to align solutions with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. • Involved in the full systems life cycle and responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting software that is delivered on time, within approved budget and in line with business objectives. • Makes recommendations towards the development of new software or reuse of existing software. • Assists/participates in component and data architecture design and performance engineering. *POSITION REQUIREMENTS *** • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 8 years of IT work experience focused in systems development and programming. • Minimum of 7 years of Java Experience. • Experience with RDBMS, SQL, Reporting Tools and Java Application Servers. • Experience as team lead or member on project teams in a cross functional environment. • Advanced analytical skills essential. • Strong team oriented interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs. • Strong technical leadership, ability to make sound technical decisions with limited information and within compressed timelines.
