Code construction tasks are the focus of responsibilities which also include code reviews and support for System and Acceptance testing. Responsibilities: In this section, list the top 5-7 responsibilities of this position. • Develop new components and enhancements for the *Loan Delivery (LD) application*. LD application is implemented in a *J2EE platform using Sybase database*. It includes several web applications and batch programs/processes. • Review business requirements, use cases and provide feedback to management and/or business analysts. • Design and document complex application functionality. • Implement complex functionality in various layers of J2EE applications including presentation, business logic and persistence layers. • Assist QA by reviewing test plans, test case scenarios as well as resolving test findings. Qualifications: *Must-Have Skills*: These must-have skills are skills you won’t hire someone without. 5+ years experience in J2EE§ technologies including EJB, JSP (Weblogic preferred). 5+ years experience§ in XML technologies 3+ years of J2EE UI technologies including Struts,§ Tiles & JSTL, HTML and JavaScript. 5+ years experience with OO Design,§ OO Programming, Design Patterns, and Container Managed Persistence. 4*+§ years experience using RDBMS (Sybase preferred).* Extensive experience in§ working with UNIX environment including developing shell scripts and Autosys Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.§ Demonstrated§ ability to independently research, troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
