*Desc* - Web - Execution against presentation development standards as
prescribed by the UCD Technical Design team, collaborate with UCD Usability
team to refine user interface design patterns, and collaborate with
Server-side developers to integrate and preserve the integrity of the Web
Presentation Architecture(WPA)

*Job desc* - developer with strong JavaScript needs to be the primary
skillset..This resource needs to have additional presentation development
skills like heavy CSS, xHTML, XML, AJAX, etc.  Understanding of server-side
programming languages and the processes that are part of server-side Web
Application Architecture, should have a good understanding of information
architecture and usability, and must have understanding of markup practices
that include the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, Web Content
Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, and WAI-ARIA specifications

*Required skills* - Expert in JavaScript, CSS, xHTML, XML, with AJAX being a
plus..

A Web Presentation Architect is required to have a robust understanding of
HTML, XHTML, and XML markup and standardization practices. This
understanding of markup practices MAY   include the W3C Web Content
Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, and
WAI-ARIA specifications.

*CSS:* A Web Presentation Architect is required to have an in-depth
understanding of CSS 1, CSS2, and emerging CSS3 standards and must have
practical experience with CSS page layouts. This understanding must also
cover web browser specific CSS implementations and the level of adherence of
the W3C standards.

*JavaScript:* A Web Presentation Architect should have a good understanding
of JavaScript syntax, implementation techniques, and the Document Object
Model (DOM) and Java.
