*PROJECT DEFINITION* · There are several projects targeted for this individual. · All work/projects in the financial area and span multiple technologies. · Qualified candidate will have a proven track record of * independently* working on projects from the analysis to implementation. This is a key requirement. *ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*** · Assist in analysis of required modifications. · Develop specifications for modifications. · Create all test data for unit, system and QA testing. · Code and test new programs of varying complexity according to specifications. · Enhance and test the code of existing programs of varying complexity according to specifications. · Read existing code, understand its function and determine where functionality can be correctly inserted. · Work independently to successfully complete projects on time and within budget. · Complete turnover documentation, when necessary. *QUALIFICATIONS* · Must be proficient (required) in COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, Adabas, and VSAM.
