Desired Start Date: 7/13/2009 Estimated End Date: 1/31/2010 *DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:* Given general guidance, standards and procedures: - Trace issues back to root causes - Identify options for correcting root causes - Identify options for interim workarounds - Develop time and cost estimates associated with identified options - Implement solutions through full maintenance SDLC (hands-on) - Respond to internal and external customer inquiries - Prepare data feed status reports - Collect user requirements - Review existing systems code and documentation (where applicable) - Profile and review existing data availability and quality - Plan, analyze, design, construct, test and implement new data feeds - Prepare documentation for all of the above in accordance with BCBSM requirements and guidelines *REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:* - Outstanding problem-solving skills - Excellent receptive and expressive verbal communication skills - Excellent written communication skills - Excellent interpersonal skills - 3-5 years of development experience with Informatica Power Center and Power Exchange - Minimum 3 years SQL experience - Minimum 3 years Oracle experience - Minimum 3 years mainframe experience - Complex logical reasoning skills - Highly accurate and tetail oriented - Able to stay on task in potentially distracting, dynamic group setting - Readily accepts direction - Flexible hours (evening and weekend work may be required at times) *PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:* - Knowledge of health care claims and membership data - Experience reading and translating logic from SQL Server DTC, stored procedures and functions into Informatica design *EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:* - Bachelor's Degree -- Thanks & Regards Kevin Maripax Solutions | [email protected] www.Maripax.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
