** *Position Title*Data Architect ** *Job Location* Atlanta, Georgia ** Our client, a leading telecommunications company, is searching for a Data Architect to join their team. You will assist in a Data Warehouse merger project for two Enterprise Data Warehouses with a combined 200 terabytes in total storage. This project is scheduled to last 18 months. -Works with the users to define and document data warehouse business requirements as the foundation for database design, data extraction, analysis or cleansing -Determines, designs and documents data mapping rules for movement of data between applications or for population of new databases -Supports data selection, extraction, and cleansing for corporate applications, including data warehouse and data marts -Investigates and resolves data issues across platforms and applications, including discrepancies of definition, format and function -Creates data models, including robust data definitions, which may be entity-relationship-attribute models, star, or dimensional models -Works with DBA's to transition logical model to physical mode -Creates UAT test plan -Develop detailed ETL specification by co-ordination with the Solutions Architects and Data Architects -Resolve any application related issues escalated from system testing Required Skills for Data Architect Job: ***DATA WAREHOUSE ARCHITECTURE *** TERADATA *** SQL *** BTEQ *** ERWIN *** INFORMATICA -- Thanks & Regards
