Responsibilities include: • Optimize the database environments with respect to data access methods, access performance, storage, data integrity, system performance and system availability • Work closely with application developers to optimize data access and integrate the database platforms with application server environments • Improve Performance of the existing Teradata environment by reviewing existing application code & performance reports to enhance poor performing applications. • Develop stored procedures and shell scripts to automate data feeds from the source systems into the data warehouse.
