Position: *DataStage Developer* Location: *NYC, NY* Duration: *6 Month* Rate:* $40/hr all inclusive on C2C* *Job Description:* * *Major financial organization is involved in a Data conversion? and will be migrating from several ?legacy? databases, to a new enterprise data model and?converting from Sybase to DB2.?? Some of the legacy databases include stored procedures and triggers that may need to be analyzed. Data will need to be cleansed as the client converts data from old to new databases.? The majority of the data cleanup effort is manual, requiring?users?to correct. Data analysts and DataStage developers?will participate? to automate cleanup as part of the conversion routines.??Experience with?QualityStage and Information Analyzer is desired.??Data interfaces ? Client needs to continue to receive information from several sources, both internal and external and they ?need to feed data downstream to legacy systems.? Some of the downstream feeds will be going to the same databases?from where the?converted had been converted?and those?data mappings?may be re-purposed?where possible.?
