The actual development of the portal is being done by another group made up of a small team of developers. * *The portal is developed in JAVA but will be integrated with electronic applications created with IBM’s LotusForms. In addition the portal will interface with the document management system (FileNet) as well as a SharePoint application. * * * *The portal is a single sign on gateway for the internal users, providers and recipients. The portal is the sole point of entry for the internal users to the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). The MMIS is a Cobol, DB2 mainframe system that will be converted from CICS screens to web screens via the IBM HATS product. * *This position will serve as the Senior Analyst/Lead for the implementation of the portal piece of the project. They will be the point of contact and liaison with the customer (DMAS) and internal peer groups (i.e. the portal developers, FileNet development team, MMIS conversion team, etc). * *The Web Portal Lead will be responsible for the creation of the Requirements Analysis Documents (RADs), the Detail System Design (DSD) as well as ensuring the developers have the information needed to complete the project. * *Qualifications: * *§** **3 – 5+ years previous experience leading the implementation of web portal development projects.* *§** **Experience/familiarity with web portal security* *§** **Extensive experience integrating portal applications with COTS and proprietary applications* *§** **Experience**** in the creation of RADs and DSDs* *§** **Excellent customer facing skills* *§** **Knowledge of the full development lifecycle, testing large-scale development projects* *§** **Experience in a data processing development/operation environment * *§** **Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team * *§** **Must have an excellent ability to communicate (both verbal and written) with both technical and non-technical staff and clients * *§** **Strong deadline and task management skills * *§** **Sound discretionary judgment skills * *§** **Experience working in a structured project management environment* *§** **Experience with an object-oriented design project* *§** **Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL)* *§** **Strong analysis skills* -- Thanks & Regards, Kevin [email protected] iFuturistics Inc Tel:914-455-4228 skype:kevinifi "Note: We respect your on-line privacy.
