Candidates must have very good English communication skills. * Cognos Lead Developer - 5+ years experience with Cognos in BI/Reporting development. - 3+ years hands-on experience developing frameworks and dashboards using Cognos. Experience with Power Designer data modeling and Sybase IQ a plus. Complete Description: ***Must have hands on experience with Cognos. If your candidate does not have this experience they will not be considered*** Responsibilities: - Cognos report development including framework modeling, creation of data mappings and dashboards. - Work effectively with internal business and technical stakeholders including ability to present technical solutions while showing a strong understanding of business activities and objectives. - Develop high level and detail designs for data mart and data warehouse projects. - Create system documentation including, but not limited to, data dictionaries, schema diagrams, programming specifications, etc. - Develop system test plans and test cases. Additional Requirements: - Degree in Computer Science and multiple years related work experience. - Knowledge/experience with data warehousing concepts such as data modeling, data quality, SCD, ETL. - Knowledge/experience with both Entity Relational Models, and Dimensional Models. - Strong understanding of Business Intelligence (BI, OLAP, ROLAP) tools. - Extensive experience with SQL and ability to develop complex schemas. - Excellent communication skills. - Strong analytic and problem solving skills. - Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously. Additional Information: ***If your candidate is selected for an interview they will be required to complete prescreen questions.
