Position: *Datastage Developer* Location: *Middletown**, CT*** Duration: *6+ Months * Rate: *$35/hr* all inclusive on C2C *ONLY LOCALS PREFFERED - FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW IS MUST* *Description:* * * - Contribute to technical design of complex, highly re-usable * DataStage* or *Ab-Initio ETL* processes including the creation and maintenance of *technical* *application* and component specifications. - Ability to *code* to the technical specifications. - Interaction with multiple teams while working through technical and design issues. - Responsible for the creation of detailed *test plans*, perform *Unit *and* Integration testing* exercises to ensure high-quality systems delivery. - Ability to work independently as well as in small groups, performing technical activities including analysis, design, development, testing and production installation of all components of a *DataStage* or * Ab-Initio* application. - Minimum of *8 years* experience in the IT industry. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. - *ETL DataStage* or *Ab-Initio* software skills are required, with multiple years of *design* and *development* experience in diverse architectures. - Desired Experience with the *Datastage* *toolset*, *Datastage/EE*, *Sever* and *Parallel* programming (strong Parallel programming), *UNIX*, *Unix/w2k scripting*, external job scheduling and *DB2*. - Desired, but not required skills include DB2/UDB, FTP, and Mainframe TSO/ISPF including various file structures. - Education Level: Under Graduate Degree. *Desired Skills:* - Required Industry Experience: 2 years.
