Duration: 6 Month Contract Rate: DOE Location: San Francisco, CA, LOCALS ONLY THIS IS A ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. *Requirements:* · 5+ years of Unix(Solaris)/Linux systems experience in a large, 24x7 environment · Sun hardware, high end server experience · Advanced Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) and VERITAS Cluster Server (VCS) · Experience with Networking(sub-netting, routing, etc.) · SAN concepts(provisioning, use, etc.) · Experience with BIND, Sendmail, LDAP, and Apache · Ecommerce active/active site build, design and failure point analysis experience. · Ability to document project designs, process, and policy · Shell scripting (Bourne, Perl, Awk, Sed, etc.) prowess. - need to have VCS skills - need to have basic knowledge of S10 zones - need to have very good trouble shooting skills - most importantly should be self motivated and enthusiastic and go getter and quick learner. don't expect them to know everything but at least have the aptitude to find out the fix and not just give up easily.
