JDE Developer (Financial Modules) for Jacksonville, FL 6 month contract Rate:$40 – 45 / hr cc JDE Lead Developer Solid knowledge/experience with JDE development tools and standards. Experience in the JDE financial modules (GL/AP/AR/FA) is preferred. Working knowledge of SQL. PRIMARY FUNCTION: The JDE Lead Developer is responsible for design, development, and unit testing of new software applications, software application modifications, and software application integration. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of complex assignments. May cross disciplines. Under general supervision, plans, conducts and supervises assignments. Reviews progress and evaluates results. Assists the Development Manager in planning and assigning personnel for given projects or tasks. Recommends changes in procedures. Reviews progress with management. PRE EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Experience: 5-10 years ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The essential functions of the JDE Lead Developer include but are not limited to: Technical Design Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and devises programs, systems and related procedures to process information. Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solutions. Prepares program specifications and diagrams, and develops coding logic flowcharts. Codes, tests and debugs programs and procedures in coordination with IT and user departments. Identifies technical requirements from business requirements. Translates business and technical requirements into technical design specification for application and integration development. Construction, prototyping and unit testing of software and integration applications. Business Solution Support Works with the Business Relationship Manger and/or Project Manager to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed solutions providing assessment of project estimates in time and resources May provide information for the development of project scope and plans.
