Duration: 6+ months Rate: DOE Location: Austin, TX Skills: Utilize SQL and database programming in analyzing massive and highly complex data sets, performing ad-hoc analysis and data manipulation. Role is script heavy with emphasis on automation. Strong coding background preferred. The following skills will be required. Five years of experience of RDBMS, such as Teradata/Oracle/open source. 5 years of experience of UNIX systems, such as Solaris and Linux Excellent in Shell/SQL/SAS scripting, and process integration/automation/monitoring, and knowing other languages such as perl/python/c/c++ would be a plus. Has very good/excellent practical knowledge of SAS (the more SAS modules the better) Modeling and analytics experience in financial area is a big plus.
