Strong system analysis, architecture, design and research skills -
The position breaks down as follows: 60% hands-on system engineering, 25%
infrastructure research, design and architecture practices, 15% leadership:
working with support engineers and developers across teams.
Very close to the technology - research, design, prototype and configure
middleware products/solutions
- Core Java and JEE.
- *Oracle products: WebLogic, Universal Content Management (UCM) and OES.
* **
- Other Technology: Tomcat, Spring framework, SOA and Portals.
- *Messaging: WebSphere MQ, Active MQ and JMS (must have knowledge but
does not need to be an expert).* **
- Database: Oracle 11g.
- *Good knowledge of ITIL practices - Configuration, Change and Release
Management.* **
- *Strong Infrastructure Management background - capacity
planning, performance management and security.*
* **Job Qualifications: *
- Strong systems analysis and engineering
skills.
- Strong understanding of *middleware technologies and infrastructure
management.*
- 5+ years in middleware technologies including *WebLogic (MUST), Tomcat
(MUST),* *Spring framework (MUST), WebSphere MQ, Oracle UCM* (they are
moving to this in 2010), * SOA and Portal*
.
- 3+ years in *Java/JEE development Java is the key.* **
- *UNIX scripting* is a strong plus *- Shell, Perl, Python, Jython and
WLST.*
- Project management skills is a plus.
- *Vendor relationship management and troubleshooting* skills are
required
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented
environment
