The Scope-of-Work could include, but is not limited to the following tasks
listed below.

Responsible for extensive functional, regression, and system testing of
web-based applications.
Analyzes and reviews system requirements, use cases and other design
documents to gain overall understanding of the functionality of the new
application and determines the appropriate level of testing required.
Performs system testing and works closely with Project Quality Assurance
Lead to ensure application developed meets the defined requirements and
passes the user acceptance testing prior to the application’s release.
Validates defects provided by SMEs and end users.
Writes and maintains test cases using Mercury Quality Center and Excel if
needed.
Records and tracks defects in Mercury Quality Center and Excel, if needed.
Performs system testing of new enhancements with an emphasis on quality.
Assesses and prepares test data per requirements. Assures that all products
are inspected to meet agency standards for quality, security, performance,
usability and other standards.
Communicates with Project Quality Assurance Lead about testing tasks.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience in Software Testing Life Cycle and Defect Cycle.

Creating and executing Test cases using Mercury Quality Center

Experience in software development project(s) and the Software Development
Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Strong

Knowledge of application requirements gathering documentation and analysis.

Strong

Ability to assimilate input from many different sources and present concise
recommendations.

Strong

Ability to ensure compliance with business requirements which includes state
and federal regulations.

Strong

Ability to identify problems and develop solutions.

Strong

Ability to communicate technical concepts to professional and non-technical
clients.

Strong

Ability to conceptually understand and translate business requirements to
technical specifications.

Strong

Knowledge of accessibility requirements including basic section 508 testing.


Strong

Knowledge of adaptive software including Jaws, ZoomText and Dragon Naturally
Speaking.

Degree or equivalent

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major
course work in social work or a related field is generally preferred.
 Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
