Role: Sr. ETL(Informatica) Developer Location: Portland Oregon Duration: 6 months plus Start: ASAP Description: Our client is seeking an ETL (Informatica) Developer in Lake Oswego, Oregon (OR). As an ETL developer, you will be a member of a technical development team to build and support complex applications using Informatica. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing and supporting applications at the direction of the Program Lead. The candidate will work closely with an ETL Lead for process and architecture support. Responsibilities: • Coding, testing, modifying, debugging, documenting, implementation and deployment of software using the Informatica tool • Review and Analyze functional requirements, mapping documents, assist in problem solving and trouble shooting • Work with different application groups and deliver effective solutions • Assist in technical specifications and other deliverable documents • Develop and execute test plans and cases at the unit testing level. Support System testing as necessary • Production support and maintenance of applications through warranty phase • Performance Tuning of Informatica Mappings, processes and load routines Qualifications: • Work with multiple teams and report to technical leads • Able to work in multiple tracks simultaneously • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study • 8 + years of experience working with large scale applications • 5 + years of experience with Informatica tool set with good working experience in Informatica 861+ • Must have sound experience using databases such as Oracle and SQL • Data Warehouse / ETL design and development methodologies knowledge and experience is required • Informatica, SQL, UNIX and Shell Scripting experience is a must.
