*Job Description:*
*Required skills:*
Minimum 7+ years of extensive experience in Release Management and
knowledge in Build and deployment process
Minimum 7+ years of experience in J2EE, WCBD builds and deployments
Hands on experience in in WebSphere & Database concepts
*Roles and Responsibilities:*
Responsible to plan for software releases and tracking milestones.
Ensures for scope finalization of the release on time and maintains the
agile dashboard for all projects
Should be an effective communicator with good verbal and written
communication skills
Monitors the QA, performance and security scan results for each release
Participate in IRB/CRB Reviews for change approvals
Involve in release planning/discussions with Business and coordinate for
any production issues
Should be self-driven and take end-to-end ownership of responsibilities
Identify Documentation opportunities and document SOPs/ Release Manuals /
SCM Plan etc
Establish checklists to ensure consistency across releases
Co-ordinate with various functions (Development, Testing, Environment
Management, helpdesk etc) within the organization for successful releases
Adhere to agreed timelines of deliverables
Report/Escalate to supervisor as appropriate (Ex: Dev team contacting for
support during non-deployment window)
*Qualifications*
Engineering / science graduates with 4-7 years of experience
