Client is seeking two (2) highly motivated and capable people to take a leadership role related to defining and documenting processes on the Workday ERP project, as well as participating in various testing roles and other relevant activities needed during the project lifecycle. Position Title1: “Workday Business Analyst for HR/Payroll and Finance” Position Title2: “Workday Business Analyst for Testing” This role ideally will require knowledge of Financial systems processes, and the ability to document current/future processes, and the ability to communicate those processes to others. This will include communication to those involved with the organizational change management process. There is also the possibility that this individual could be assigned other project-related responsibilities as required. Presented applicants are expected to be highly experienced business analysts that communicate extremely well. Workday Business Analyst Finance and Testing Background Madison College is implementing the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Finance modules. Workday is a securely hosted integrated Human Resources/Payroll and Finance system. It is an ERP system that is hosted securely in the “Cloud”. Workday will allow Madison College to improve its Human Resources and Finance processes by adopting the best practice business processes supplied by Workday. It also allows us to better address emerging compliance needs, and to off-load some administrative work via the new self-service functionality. Because it is hosted off-site, it allows Madison College to have a smaller on-site footprint for the HCM and Finance modules. It replaces an existing HCM/Finance system that is approximately 13 years old and is due for replacement. The Workday Business Analyst for Finance is responsible for understanding and documenting the complete Madison College Financial process. To reach that state, the Workday Business Analyst will elicit requirements, perform analysis, and communicate information appropriately to the Workday Core Team, and also to the Workday Organizational Change Management Team. This position will work in fairly equal parts with each of those teams. The Organizational Change Management Team is responsible for maximizing user adoption of the new system within the Madison College user community through communication, training, documentation, and cultural change. This position will also perform other duties as assigned. Later in the project lifecycle, this position will take a larger role in system testing, as assigned by the Workday Finance Leads. There will be opportunities for ambitious individuals in this role to serve in wide range of capacities on multiple teams. Basic Qualifications • 3+ years of business process reengineering experience or similar work • Strong business analyst experience is a MUST.
